Vaccines save lives.

Parents who vaccinate their children are protecting them from 16 diseases by age 2. Without vaccines to protect from these diseases, children can be ill for weeks, be hospitalized, and in the most horrible cases, a child can die.

The Colorado Children’s Immunization Coalition (CCIC) is an independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to keeping Colorado’s kids healthy by increasing childhood vaccination coverage. We do this by empowering parents to make informed health care decisions regarding immunizations for their family

The Colorado Children’s Immunization Coalition works with health professionals, parents and media to share the latest information about vaccines. We fulfill our mission by:

• Educating professionals
• Organizing Colorado’s childhood immunization projects through coalition building
• Advocating for better access to vaccines for all children
• Sharing information on vaccine safety to healthcare providers, parents, the media and organizations across the country

We do all of this without accepting funding from vaccine manufacturers and distributors and by abiding by strict fundraising ethics.
