CCIC serves Colorado’s health care community by offering immunization focused educational opportunities. Our free seminars are offered across the state both in-person and as webinars.
We are proud to offer presentations by doctors and researchers such as Dr. Robert Brayden, Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University Of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Dr. Jason Glanz, a NIH research investigator with the Institute of Health Research at Kaiser Permanente, and Ms. Nicole Wagner, Project Manager with the Institute of Health Researach at Kaiser Permanente. Topics offered by Dr. Brayden, Dr. Glanz and Ms. Wagner currently include updates on new vaccines and recommendations, vaccine safety, and parental vaccine refusal.
CCIC is also excited to be partnering with the Colorado Immunization Program to co-host educational seminars presented by the Department’s highly trained and experienced regional public health nurse consultants. Seven educational modules have been developed covering such topics as vaccine storage, handling, and administration, understanding precautions and contraindications, and immunization best practices.
