Educational Opportunities
Last year, the Colorado Children’s Immunization Coalition directly educated over 750 healthcare professionals from across the state through informative seminars, coalition presentations and webinar series related to the history, administration, and best practices for vaccine discussions, use and handling. CCIC also partners with local state and county government agencies to arrange comprehensive vaccine education in all areas of the state.
By strengthening the vaccine knowledge of our state's doctors, nurses, medical assistants and physician’s assistants, Colorado’s providers can accurately and confidently discuss the importance of vaccination with parents; adhere to proper storage, handling and administration procedures; and stay up-to-date on the latest CDC vaccination recommendations.
