Seminar Topics: Immunization Updates and Frequently Asked Questions (revised throughout the year), The Vaccine-Autism Myth, Vaccine Safety, Triumphs and Calamities of Vaccines, New Vaccines and Vaccine Research, and Communicating with Vaccine Hesitant Parents.
Dr. Brayden's presentations are targeted at professionals involved in access and delivery of vaccines as well as parents. Dr. Brayden offers his presentations in traditional face-to-face settings (across the state of Colorado) and via web conference.

Seminar: Vaccine Hesitancy: Finding Communication Strategies for a Complicated and Increasingly More Common Health Concern. Available in-person (Denver metro area) or online.
The objective of Dr. Glanz and Ms. Wagner's presentation is to review the history of vaccine hesitancy in the United States, describe the behavioral characteristics of vaccine refusers and delayers, explain the disease risks of undervaccination, and preview current research being conducted to develop communication tools for providers. The target audience includes providers, parents, health educators, and researchers who are interested in immunization hesitancy and public health.

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Immunization Program employs highly trained and experienced public health nurse consultants that live and work in seven regions of Colorado: Western Slope, Southeast, Central, Northeast & Tri-County, Southwest, North Central and Boulder, Broomfield and Denver (see pdf map below). These nurses have developed five educational modules which address the most common immunization related questions and concerns. All modules can be shortened or combined to create a unique educational offering for your staff and co-workers. Seminars can be presented live or via web-cast.
