"Vaccine Safety Systems in Public Health: VAERS 2.0 Update & Overview of the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program"
Vaccine safety is top priority throughout all steps in the development and administration processes. The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) and the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) are two essential systems that help ensure the safety and adequate public health response in the rare instance of a vaccine safety issue. Please join us Thursday, September 14 to learn more about these systems, including an overview of the vaccine licensing process, an update on the new VAERS 2.0 reporting procedures and an overview of the VICP process.
