Medicaid primary care supplemental payments were enacted as part of the Affordable Care Act. This program to pay attested primary care physicians a supplemental payment that increased Medicaid reimbursement rates to the level of Medicare rates ended December 31, 2014.

The good news is that the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF) has received authority to continue increased reimbursement for office visits and vaccine administration beginning January 1, 2015 until at least July 1, 2016.
