As a new mom I worry a lot about how to ensure that my son is safe, happy, and healthy. I am grateful every day for Jack's health because I get to enjoy him for who he is as a person. When I hear stories of other parents whose children are facing significant health challenges I realize that so much of their time is spent visiting doctors, developing treatment plans and strategies, and they have less time to focus on who their child is and who they will become. I am thankful every day that I was blessed with a healthy child and that our pediatrician is thoughtful about how to ensure that Jack remains healthy.
