Get the facts about vaccines and make informed choices about immunizing your children. The following books are excellent resources:

 

Parents’ Guide to Childhood Immunizations

A 68-page booklet from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Immunization Program which introduces parents to the 14 childhood diseases and the 10 vaccines that can protect children from them.  You can either order it online or print your own copy of the booklet.

 

Plain Talk about Childhood Immunizations

An online informational booklet developed by Public Health Seattle and King County, Snohomish Health District, and the Washington State Department of Health. 

 

Vaccines: What Every Parent Should Know (IDG Books, 1999)

Written by Dr. Paul Offit and Dr. Louis Bell. Available at your local bookstore, library or online.
