Thank you to the nearly 200 guests who sampled gourmet soups from premier Denver restaurants and enjoyed a lovely evening of networking and celebrating to keep Colorado's kids healthy!
For over a decade, the Colorado Children’s Immunization Coalition (CCIC) has worked to increase childhood immunization through coalition building, provider education, community outreach and legislative advocacy. As a way of thanking our partners and supporters in a fun and creative way, we hosted the third annual SOUP! event.
The event raised $21,000 and awareness for childhood immunizations and honored the Big Shot of the Year, Lieutenant Governor Barbara O'Brien. In addition to networking and celebrating, guests voted for their favorite soups. Root Down was awarded Best Soup and Lola walked away with the Most Creative Soup award.
SOUP! 2010 drew almost 200 of Colorado’s pediatricians, physicians, nurses, educators, legislators, public health experts and vaccine advocates to further CCIC’s mission of promoting improved access, delivery, and demand for children’s vaccinations to keep Colorado healthy.
