Sara Froelich has over 15 years of experience in government and politics. She previously served as Senior Account Executive with The Kenney Group specializing in federal government relations, as well as health care policy advocacy in Colorado, New Mexico and Utah. Under her management, the We Work for Health Colorado program grew to a coalition of roughly 80 local partners including patient advocacy organizations, research institutions and economic development organizations. In the fall of 2014, Sara managed all statewide media relations for the successful NO on 105 ballot initiative. Before her time at the The Kenney Group, Sara spent ten years serving as Deputy Downstate Director for U.S. Senator Dick Durbin, specializing in community outreach, local economic development, special projects, transportation, health care and appropriations. Sara is also a veteran campaign strategist having managed or been a top advisor for candidates for U.S. Senate, Governor, Congress and Mayor. She serves on the board of the Colorado Gerontological Society, is Past-President of her home owners association, and volunteers as a youth soccer coach. She is also a founding member of the Council for IWU Women, which mentors college-age young women. Sara lives in Denver with her husband and two kids.
