Best Start Baby Boxes
Safe sleep habits are important to keep babies healthy and safe in the first months of their lives. This year, the Community Baby Fair is partnering with Rocky Mountain Children's Health Foundation to provide free Best Start baby boxes to parents. Baby boxes provide babies up to six months of age a safe place to sleep or relax while under parental supervision. Inside each box is a firm mattress with a waterproof cover and an organic cotton sheet. To reserve your box and pick it up at the Baby Fair, please complete the online registration below.
Soil Testing Shop
Got soil? The Tri-County Health Department, in partnership with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region 8, and the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ASDTR), will provide a free Soil Testing Shop at the Community Baby Fair and help educate new parents and families about lead poisoning prevention and other home health initiatives around radon, indoor air quality, mold and chemical safety in the home! Bring a soil sample to the Baby Fair to have it tested and ensure the land outside your home is safe for your little one(s).
