CCIC Provider Education: A Randomized Intervention Trial of a Vaccine Social Media Website

Dr. Jason Glanz presented on the influence of social media in vaccine decision making while unveiling the results of this recently completed study and the significance of these conclusions moving forward.

Presenter
Jason Glanz, PhD, is an epidemiologist and investigator at the Kaiser Permanente Colorado Institute for Health Research and a Clinical Associate Professor of epidemiology in the Department of Epidemiology at the Colorado School of Public Health. He is currently a co-principal investigator for the Vaccine Safety Datalink, a national CDC-funded project that examines the safety of vaccines. Dr. Glanz's research also focusses on factors associated with parental vaccine hesitancy and intervention strategies to improve vaccine acceptance.
