Aurora, Colo. -- CCIC received a $15,000 grant through Denver Post Season to Share, a McCormick Foundation Fund. The grant will support the Shots for Tots and Teens program, a partnership between CCIC, Tri-County Health Department, the Aurora Fire Department, local Rotary Clubs, Denver Public Health/Denver Health, and Denver Paramedics that offers low- and no-cost Saturday immunization clinics for children and teens throughout the year in Aurora and Denver. Shots for Tots and Teens will also expand to Arvada this summer, with a kickoff clinic hosted by Jefferson County Public Health and Arvada Fire Protection District scheduled for August 27.

This year, Denver Post Charities distributed $2,290,000 to 49 nonprofit organizations across the Denver metropolitan region. The grants were presented at a July 7 ceremony.
