Senate Bill 222
Governor Hickenlooper signed into law Senate Bill 13-222 Concerning Improving Access to Children's Immunizations on May 18, 2013.
Last August, more than 150 stakeholders from across the state helped the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) launch the SB 222 Task Force. Since then, members of the Task Force have debated, deliberated, and determined the best collective strategies to increase access to immunizations for Colorado's children. On June 3, 2014, the Task Force submitted their final recommendations to CDPHE. Of particular note, members worked with tenacity and perseverance during the past nine months to reach consensus on these recommendations, capturing what they see as the collective priorities for the state.
Please see below for the SB 222 Task Force Final Report and Recommendations.
