The greatest strength of CCIC lies with our Coalition membership. The Coalition is composed of over 200 individual members representing 88 organizations, including CDPHE, local health departments, nursing associations, community organizations, and businesses. Members convene every other month to network, share information, present issues, ask for feedback, and discuss the collaborative and interconnected efforts to increase the childhood immunization rate.
CCIC has received feedback from Coalition members that they often find themselves absorbed in the details and operations of their own organizations. They assert that Coalition meetings help keep them connected to the public health sector and focus on the bigger picture of how we can work together towards common goals. Outside of Coalition meetings, members convene in committee work which focuses on programming, evaluation of our target markets, and clinical practices.
