2016 Community Baby Fair

For the past 25 years, CCIC has been essential in elevating the role vaccines play in preventing illness and promoting health for all of Colorado through coalition building, provider education, community outreach, and legislative advocacy. We hosted the Community Baby Fair on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the Montclair Rec Center to connect Stapleton and Lowry families with local health and safety resources to help give their children a healthy, happy beginning.

This free event featured 20 exhibitors representing health and safety organizations, baby-focused businesses and community groups, as well as an information session for parents to learn more and ask questions about maternal and childhood immunizations from experts. The Community Baby Fair also offered fun activities for children, door prizes and giveaways, refreshments, and a nursing station and baby rest stop (courtesy of La Leche League of Stapleton).
