Regional Immunization Summit

Mark your calendars and plan to participate in the first-ever Colorado Regional Immunization Summit hosted by CCIC and St. Mary's Hospital

This one-day conference will be held in Grand Junction as an opportunity for Coloradans involved in immunization delivery, education and advocacy to learn about current issues and best practices to promote vaccination from world-renowned experts in the field.

Conference Objectives

  • Describe the latest updates on vaccine-preventable diseases and immunization coverage in Colorado and the U.S.
  • Implement best practices and strategies to communicate with parents and improve immunization rates.
  • Discuss recently passed immunization legislation in Colorado and related implementation initiatives to address access and immunization needs in the State.

Overnight rooms are the responsibility of the conference participant. We recommend you make room reservations as early as possible. A block of rooms has been reserved the nights of October 22 and 23 at the SpringHill Suites Marriott, 236 Main Street, Grand Junction, Colorado 81501. This hotel is within walking distance to downtown. Rooms are reserved at the discounted rate of $104.95 per night plus state, local taxes and a $5.00 per night parking fee. 

To reserve a room at the SpringHill Suites Marriott at the conference rate, ask for the Children's Coalition Rate if making the reservation by phone (970-424-5777) or use the online booking code, CCICCIA for rooms with king beds and CCICCIB for rooms with two queen beds. 

Rooms at this rate are based on availability on a first-come, first-served basis. The close-off date for this room block is September 22, 2015.

Discounted rates are also available at the Double Tree by Hilton Grand Junction. Please call the hotel directly at 970-241-8888 and ask for the SCL health rate. Limited rooms are available on a first come, first serve basis at the following rates: $103 per night for two queen beds and $113 per night for one king bed.
